While in Fl recently, during one of our Orlando Florida vacations, we passed through Kissimmee going west along the 192 and came to Celebration resort, a new town built near Walt Disney world, just south of Old Town on the 192. We saw someone riding a Segway, and met Dale, the owner of Segway Orlando in the Disney area, and learned that he gives private tours around the town of Celebration. We knew that Disney Florida offered Segway tours, but ruled this out because of the high cost. So imagine our delight when we learned that Dale offers Segway tours for less than half of what others might charge. We signed up straight away, and were given a tour around the lake at the end of Main Street, Celebration. To say we enjoyed it immensely is an understatement, the thrill of zooming along paved pathways in total silence, all without effort other than leaning forward to accelerate, and standing up straight to slow down or stop, made the tour so enjoyable and allowed us to take in the great views of wildlife and the varied scenery. The tour came to an end all too soon, so we decided we would return for the 90 minute tour which was on offer, at a later date. So, there we were, just a week later, back for more fun on the Segway. With a party of 5, we toured many small lakes, mostly on paved walkways, with Dale pointing out all the wildlife, the many great multi-million $ homes, taking us from one lake to another over a series of raised wooden boardwalks through wooded areas over swampland. The Segway is just so easy to ride that we were free to appreciate all the beauty which the area has. Dale is so knowledgeable about the area, giving us a great insight into the best that Celebration has to offer. Alas, 90 minutes passed by all too quickly, and we were back at the lake at the bottom of Main Street. All I can say to anyone who visits Orlando in the Celebration area is to seek Dale out and book up for a unique thrill of your life.

We happened to be at Celebration just to look around. We found the shop advertising the SEGWAY tours and were immediately interested. We got a small family group and made a reservation. As luck would have it, the weather was wonderful. We got our short intro to riding the SEGWAYs and took off. As my daughter said it, we all could not stop smiling the entire ride. Our tour guide, Dale, was very knowledgeable. We had a blast! We will return with others for another great adventure. We highly recommend the drive over for this experience. The price is well worth it for the fun we had.

Went to Celebration on a spur of the moment day trip and didnt even know they were segway tours avaliable here let alone planned to do one. We had looked at segway tours at epcot but thought they were expensive for the time you got so when we past the segway tour place one of the attentants asked if we wanted to do one and that we could arrange one when we liked they said the tour was one and half hours long and took you all around Celebration for only $50 dollars (Half the price of epcot) So we manage to arrange to come back in half an hour for our own private tour. Have to say the tour was excellent and our tour guide was great pointing out various wildlife and giving us loads of info about the area. I said in previous posting we could not recommend it enough deff one of the highlights of our holiday. We deff be doing it again when we come back.

During our vacation to Orlando, my wife & took the Segway as a break from the theme parks. It was our most enjoyable afternoon in Florida! The Segways were a ton of fun to ride & the sights and trails thru Celebration were wonderful. We plan to take this tour again during any future trip to the area.

My family and friends went on the Segway Tour this past Saturday for my birthday (7-26-2008) and it was a blast. We all had so much fun. I grew up living in/around Celebration and saw things on this tour that I had never seen before. I would recommend a Segwa tour to everyone.

Ok, so my eleven year old son has been wanting to take a Segway tour for over a year. You would think this would be an easy task, but many of the tour operators like EPCOT have an age restriction. We happen to be walking around Celebration and stumbled on the Family Fun Station. I had an opportunity to meet and chat with the owner Michael. Michael answered all my questions and welcomed my son to take a tour. Michael and I talked for a while, not only about the Segway tour, but also about Celebration. He was very knowledgeable about Celebration as he lives there and we had a good chat. Michael seems like just a very nice guy who wants to give his customers excellent service and a great time. We actually took the Segway tour today. Our tour guide was Dale, another very nice and well-informed guy. My son and I were the only two on the tour with Dale, and to say the least, we had a blast. My son could not stop talking about what a great time he had. Dale was an excellent tour guy imparting all sorts of information about Celebration and the natural environment found on the tour. He was so good in answering all our questions and just making the whole experience very special for my son and myself. So from a dad and son who just had a great time on the Segway tour, thanks Michael and Dale for a very special experience. For those of you looking to take a Segway tour and also see the beautiful surroundings of Celebration, I highly recommend this tour. It simply can not be beat!

We toured Celebration Segway-style with Mike in May. We'd both done the "Segway Round The World" tour at Epcot a couple of years ago, so we could ride the Segways with the minimum of instruction. This meant we had about 90 minutes of touring Celebration with Mike - awesome! We didn't realise that Celebration was so big. Mike was great, chatting and pointing out wildlife and other interesting things all along the way. All in all, this Segway tour was much better than the Disney tour. It was cheaper, longer, less rigid (Disney keep the group very tightly packed, with a cast member at the front and back of the group) and much more relaxed. This tour is highly recommended, and was the definite highlight of our recent vacation - we'll be back to see you again the next time we come to Orlando.

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a 1 on 1 segway tour of Celebration with Michael earlier this week. It was most definitely the highlight of my time here in Florida. Celebration is a beautiful community with so much to offer. Michael's personal knowledge and information sharing made the tour most memorable...and I truely enjoyed his company and conversation. As far as the segway, itself, Michael's instruction made this learning experience quite easy. Thanks, Michael!

My husband and I spent a wonderful sunny morning touring Celebration with Michael on Segways. We were able to see so much wildlife on the tour; alligators of course, herons, snowy egrets, turtles, lots of ducks with their newborn babies, and even an otter who came up close to investigate us! Michael pointed out lots of photograph opportunities for us, and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Celebration is a beautiful community, and this Segway tour is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. Make sure you take the time to join Michael for one of the most fun experiences you'll have while visiting Florida!
